Edinilen bilgiye göre, Abdullah K. yönetimindeki 27 AGM 983 plakalı minibüs ile Fatih O. idaresindeki 46 ADY 175 plaka kamyonet kavşak içerisinde çarpıştı. Çarpmanın etkisiyle araç kırmızı ışıkta beklemede olan 46 FS 146 ile 46 AEP 343 plaka araçlara çarptı. Kazada sürücü Abdullah K, sürücü Fatih O., sürücü Turgay E, sürücü Bilal T., Arif Çalık (27), Emine Bayındır (51), Medine Yırtar (41), Nahibe Elekçi (54), Fatma Arslan (34), Nazlı Basıç (52), Muazzez Daş (39), E.D.T. (6), Bilal Elekçi (20), İ.K.D (13) ile Ekrem Kayadibi (57) yaralandı. Yaralılar ihbar üzerine olay yerine gelen sağlık ekipleri tarafından Türkoğlu Devlet Hastanesine kaldırılarak tedavi altına alındı.
